Natural hybrid of C. guttatum x C. yatabeanum

This is a selected clone of C. x alaskanum. Although all the plants are genetically identical, they will have different spot patterns. It spreads by rhizomes. It truly looks like it belongs in the fairy garden with its dainty flowers, only an inch or so tall. Plants get to be 8 -10 inches tall and can sometimes have 2 flowers per stem. It is an easy lady slipper to grow and good for beginners.

Zones 3-7. 8-10 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
