C. kentuckiense x. C. fasciolatum

Gabriela is a hybrid of the two largest yellow lady-slippers, C. kentuckiense from North America and C. fasciolatum from Asia. Therefore, it is a very robust, large yellow-flowering lady-slipper. The pouch is a bit more rounded than C. kentuckiense and the hood stands more upright. The hood and tendrils are a beautifully striped brown and yellow. Blooms mid-season.

Zones 4-7, 11-23 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
