This is a beautiful. new, hard-to-find species form of Delphinium from northern Russia and China. It has a very interesting zig-zagging stem that is accented with dark maroon/purple. It has wide felted greyish-green leaves. The flowers are a beautiful shade of purple for the summer garden with black 'eye' in the center. As the plant matures, there will be multiple racemes of flowers.

Zones 3-7.12-24 in. Sun to part shade. Average to moist soil.
