Although called Japanese Anemone, they are actually from China. Beautiful pink flowers sway in the breeze of the late summer garden above the 2 foot tall foliage. They will not do well in hot, dry sunny spots, but can do full sun if the roots are kept moist. They prefer part shade with well drained soil. Once established, they will spread by rhizomes forming large colonies. A beautiful cut flower at any stage.

Zones 4-7. 2-4 ft. Sun to Part Shade. Moist, well-drained soil.
