C. fasciolatum x C. calceolus

Cypripedium Sunny is a lovely yellow lady slipper that impresses with its large, long-lasting flowers on sturdy stems. Even in bad weather the shoots will remain upright. The plants grow to impressive clumps within a few years with regular fertilization in spring and the right choice of location. The photos show some ideal examples: semi-shade, some space around the plant to grow freely and a protective layer of mulch on top of the soil.

Zones 4-7. 15-20 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
