C. kentuckiense x C. x columbianum

This is a triple cross so it has some hybrid vigor. It has a light yellow pouch with brown tendrils like C. kentuckiense and C. pubescens both of which are parents. The other parent C. montanum is a small white lady slipper that makes the flower a bit smaller than either yellow parent and the yellow a little creamier. It is a medium-sized pouch that blooms mid-season.

Zones 4-7. 12-16 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
