This is one of our favorites in the middle of the summer because it gets so tall. The blue green columbine-like foliage topped with myriad tiny, nodding lavender flowers with prominent yellow stamens. They are striking standing above the rest of the garden.

Zones 4-7. 4-8 ft. Full sun to part shade. Moist rich, well-drained soil.
