Bright green, heart-shaped leaves over unusual brown flowers at the base of the plant. One of our best native ground covers, it is carefree and surprisingly drought tolerant. Also an alternative food source for the Pipevine Swallowtail. Western Massachusetts genotype.

Zones 2-8. 6 in. Full to part shade, moist soil.
