C. kentuckiense x C. tibeticum
This is a cross between the C. kentuckiense and C. tibeticum. Both parent plants have large slippers and the cross is no exception. The striking feature of this plant is its large dark pink to maroon slipper streaked with cream. The tendrils and hood are also a nice maroon color. These are a late season bloomer. For us they bloom in early June along with C. reginae.
Zones 4-7. 12-18 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
