This is a very long blooming form with dark maroon flowers. It has very erect stems and thin mottled leaves. It gets its name from the strongly recurved sepals that curve back against the stem. The form we grow at the nursery is a taller form than most and it will form large clumps once it is established. Native to the Mississippi River Basin.
