Sanguinaria canadensis
Sanguinaria canadensis
$21.00
A classic northeast native shade perennial. Nothing quite beats the feeling when you see them emerge in the spring; their white flowers with yellow centers blooming over still furled foliage. Blue-green leaves unfold after blooming and last until late summer when the plant goes dormant. The branching rhizome can form a large colony over many years.
Zones 4-8. 18-24 in. Light shade, good garden soil that does not dry out completely.
We are offering flowering sized bare root plants.
