An eastern North American native species with large mounded silver-mottled leaves. Very unique bottlebrush flowers emerge in early spring before the new leaves. This is a great low maintenance plant that will form a nice ground cover in dappled shade. The leaves tend to be deciduous in zones 5 and 6 and more evergreen in zones 7 to 9.
Zones 5-9. 6-12in. Full to part shade. Rich, acidic moist well-drained soil.
We are offering plants grown in quart pots.
