One of our favorite native Cimicifuga, it is a more compact plant than the other native C. racemosa with large maple-like leaves and spikes of white, sweet-smelling flowers in the fall. Eastern US Native.

Zones 4-9. 2-3 Ft. Shade or part shade, moist neutral soil.
