Hans Ernie or C. franchetii x C. calceolus

This is a clone of a Cyp. ‘Hans Erni’ plant that was selected for outstanding quality. It is named Harlequin because the flower color is sensitive to temperature during bud formation. If it was warm, you will get a white base tone, cool produces yellow. If there was temperature fluctuation, you can get both on one plant. This is a shorter variety with nice dark pink coloration on the pouch.

Zones 3-8. 7-11 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
