C. montanum x C. parviflorum var. pubescens

Cypripedium x columbianum is a natural hybrid between C. pubescens and C.montanum. It has a creamy white or light yellow pouch with light to dark brown tendrils and is a mid-season bloomer.

Columbianum can be more sensitive to wet conditions so well-drained soil and or a sheltered location are recommended.

Zones 3-7. 12-17 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.
