This is the single flower form with deep red flowers over finely-divided fern-like foliage. Plants do best when planted in a part of the garden that is slow to warm up in the spring, delaying their emergence.

Zones 4-9. 12-24 in. Sun to light shade. Good rich soil.

We are offering 2 to 3-year-old bare root plants. These will need a number of years to settle in before blooming.
