C. calceolus x C. cordigerum

This is a cross between the European C. calceolus which looks a lot like our own native C. parviflorum var. pubescens and the Asian C. cordigerum. The result is a creamy white to yellow pouch with dark burgundy almost brown tendrils with an elegant twist or two.

Zones 4-7. 10-12 in. Light shade, cool moist rich well-drained soil.

Blooming-sized plants have at least one large blooming stem and well-developed root system.

FS-NF plants that are either blooming or large near-blooming plants.

Near flowering plants that are one to two years away from blooming.
