A clump-forming mayapple. Light pink upward-facing cup-shaped flowers bloom in early spring atop the emerging maroon-marbled leaves. In summer a brilliant red, egg-shaped seed pod forms under the umbrella like leaves

Zones 4-8. 20-30'. Part shade, moist rich soil.
