Caltha palustris - Marsh Marigold

Caltha palustris - Marsh Marigold

$18.00

Marsh marigolds are always a cheerful site declaring that spring is here. I love seeing them growing along the roadsides in wet areas around our local beaver pond and along stream beds in our neighborhood. They are found in wet areas including marshes, swamps and wet meadows. They can take full sun if they are kept very moist in rich soil. They can tolerate some drought, but it will cause them to go dormant. Clump forming and can self sow in an area creating a ground cover. A great deer resistant native for a wet area.

Zones: 3-7, 8-12 inches, Wet to moist soil. Sun to Shade.

We are offering plants grown in quart pots.
